Default what else do I need m-powered 8 (hardware wise)

Right now pro-tools M-Powered 8 will not work because I don't have an m-audio piece of hardware. I want to know what you guys recommend for my situation. I will be bringing home tracks after church to mix down (play with is more like it though since I don't know what I'm doing yet.). I don't know why I need anything other then the software if I'm not going to be recording, but whatever, maybe there is a work around that someone knows about. I did find something cheap but I don't know if it will work... M-Audio - Midisport 1 X 1
