auto.capture for selected tracks only

Hi!

Im using Capture for saving snapshots on the Icon.

I have to use Shift-Alt when I punch the capture to only effect the selected tracks.

Is there a way for only capturing the selected tracks in the capture buffer?

Shift-Alt-Capture doesn't seem to work

Could be wrong but I think you have to capture the whole thing at your cursor (alt/opt capture) and then selectively print/copy it to armed tracks/parameters within a selection - the way you are doing it. That's how I do it.

Try this (modifiers from a mac)
locate to the section of timeline you want to capture a snapshot for.
In stop with latch prime enabled.

1-Select tracks with cursor that you want stored in snap shot.
2 -option + shift + Capture
3 -Option +Shift + Punch Capture
4 -capture
5 -Hold snapshot location to save

Now -when you recall the snapshot ONLY the tracks/parameters that were in write when the snap shot was saved will be recalled.

Snapshots are great for storing reverb settings etc -you can quickly setup several verbs in one button press.
