Default Offline Bounce adds 60 seconds silence to every song
Running 2018.7 on two different Windows machines. One uses an Avid interface, the other ASIO 4 ALL. In both cases, offline bounce miscalculates the length of the song by exactly 60 seconds and produces 60 seconds of silence at the end. If I bounce in real time, this does not happen. It appears that offline bounce is miscalculating the song length.


Have read prior reports of issues with automation and shortened song length. Have checked all these. Nothing corrects this problem. This happens on EVERY SINGLE song.

No, not with a timeline selection. But, you're missing my point. Why does this ONLY happen with offline bounce and NEVER with real time bounce? Is this not clearly a bug? It happens every time with every song.

That's interesting but at least for me it's not a big deal because I don't use offline, for many reasons I prefer the old practice of printing the mix to a track in real time.

Post Roll not enabled. Yes, making a timeline selection is a workaround. I wish they'd fix the bug, though.

I'm on Windows and haven't had this problem, I always select in the master track the exact length I want to export.

A forgotten automation point at the end of the timeline or a long hidden track will cause this. It is easier to make the selection than to look for the cause.
