Working between G5 Mac PPC & Mac Intel
I'm working on a Mac PPC, G5, 10.4.11 with M-Powered 7.1 and M-Audio, Firewire 410. Got a new laptop for Christmas (lucky me), Mac Intel Core 2 Duo, 10.5.5 and want to take mixing/editing projects on the road. This involves transferring an ongoing project to the laptop and back.
I'm having trouble deciding on software given the PPC-Intel thing. Any suggestions from someone who's already figured this out would be helpful. Also, the 7.1 involves an iLok--does that complicate things? And if you want to throw in interface suggestions for the LT, I'll listen |

M-audio family. as for PPC vs. Intel.. i do no have first hand exp. to comment upon
