Default Observation..

Over the years I've come here, not always logging in, to search for solutions to technical issues or user error related issues that I've had running pro tools. Now - looking at the top 10 threads here most of them are gripes.

Does that say something about customer disgruntlement - sure - is it helpful to those that are trying to find solutions...which is the point of this forum (correct me if I'm wrong) - no.

Why not collect all the griping posts into one thread and stop spamming the board relentlessly because you're p/o'd that a company isn't doing what you feel they should be doing with a version of software you don't own. I'm not defending anyone here - just expressing frustration that this rich resource for users is, of late, a soap box for anything but what it is intended for.

Agreed. Everyone seems to think they have the last and final word on something, and start a new thread, when their gripe has been said by different users dozens of times.

What would you call this thread?
Protools 10 related?

I see this one moving to 'General Discussion' pronto...

Yeah, the disgruntled customers have completely taken over DUC and absolutely no tech questions are being answered anymore. How frustrating.

The problem is, the problem is considered to be spam that should just go away.

BTW, with my eyes, I see plenty of tech questions being asked and answered.

Another observation is that this forum is like a ghost town compared to what it used to be a few years ago.
