Make a loop in Protools : measure 1 to 3 ( 2 bars)

Active PLAY LOOP

Send MBC to MPC

ANd PLay ........ Normaly the MPC will Lost SYNC after 1 or 2 loops.......

If you want to check the sync with PT : record a KICK track and loop this track while listening the return of the MPC .

I don't have any MPC1000 . MPC1000 is very recent so it could work with it

I tested on MPC2000 , TR909, REVOLUTION, XBASE09 jomox, MAQ16/3 Doepfer and all these gears are not compatible with the MBC of Protools !!!!

But the REVOLUTION , the MAQ and the XBASE are very recent too and they don't sync to PT ( IN LOOP PLAYBACK MODE)

We were able to reproduce the problem you reported with a Yamaha SY85 in Song Mode. That device (and others) work fine in Pattern Mode. Can you try that and let us know your results?

I will test with the TR909 in SONG MODE !

Notice that the MAQ16/3 Doepfer does not have SONG MODE : and this Sequencer STILL stop at the end of the LOOP.

Notice also that it is impossible to compose BEAT in SONG MODE on a DRUM BOX ;-)
