I don't mean to be rude but what's the point?

I mean I'm in NO rush to back to the old days when TDM plugins literally cost twice as much as the Native equivalent and didn't in fact sound as good because of the fixed point math!

Also, I'd wager that DSP sales are a tiny proportion compared to Native.

There's no point in NOT releasing a native version if you have DSP code available. It is the same code, except DSP has some extra limitations due to hardware... so... if it runs on DSP, it can also run native.

HEAT used to be DSP only, didn't it?

Then they started making it available for any HD/Ultimate system as an AAX Native plugin.

But, like someone needs in another thread said, when you use the offline bounce, everything gets shifted from DSP to native processing anyway, doesn't it?
