MTM flickering

Is there anyway to get rid of the slight flickering on the MTM screen?
I recall reading something about that is the past but can’t find it now.

There was a knowledge base article suggesting that logging out of the S6user then logging back in might help matters.

After many meetings with the manufacturer of the screen(over a year) we think we have finally got to the bottom of the MTM Screen flicker. It doesnt paint a certain shade of gray properly so we need to tweak it. This does involve a lot of graphics rework though but are aiming to improve it for the 20.4 release.

Mike Hofer's S6 vs S4 comparison video said the S4 MTM screens seemed better than the S6, less flicker - is it a different part?

The screen is the same but the motherboard is a new manufacturer. Its only slightly faster but it doesnt have the flicker issue because it uses a different bit depth for the video signal and avoids the color issue.

So is 20.4 the next expected release?
Sure hope that customisable parameters/knobs is in that one too :)

Yes 20.4 for less flickering. This release is to support Folder Tracks
