Hi,

It is usually best to actually exit the program after you close the session and Both those things should be done from the Drop down menus not the X in the corner.

Just my thoughts,

Hi, that is a new "feature" actually that will probably throw quite a few people off. Pro Tools now uses Window Sets more like Logic. It's actually a very cool feature and if you read up on the whats new in 7.3 you'll find out that you can save different window setups and layouts and recall those settings for windows configurations. So now the that the windows are dynamic, closing a window doesn't close the session like most people are use to.

So don't be afraid, the session is there there, but you need to learn the key commands above for quitting out of a session instead of clicking on the Red X. Enjoy dynamic window configurations (or whatever its called!)
