That seems cool, but I wonder how much it would tax a less powerful computer like mine by doing too much in the background while trying to run pro tools?

I wonder the same thing. Probably best to keep the NIC disabled during PT use and let gobbler (or dropbox or whatever) do backups afterward.

"Gobbler avoids interference with recording by pausing during any CPU-intensive tasks." (Taken from here: http://www.gobbler.com/features ).

Benoni has pointed out that at present it is only for Mac, but PC support is coming apparently, I did overlook that aspect sorry.

They do have some sort of sign up list for PC users.

FWIW Bob Nagy has had an PC app that automatically backs up PT files when the transport is stopped for many years now. Like decades.
