Default 32 sample buffer size?

Is this only available on the 003? 64 samples on the mbox2pro is unusable.

32 is only available on a Mac with a firewire interface. I wonder if something else is not right as I have never had a complaint with 64 for a buffer setting(and that's with drummers playing my Roland V-kit and listening to ezdrummer).

well I only get the option of 64 - you're sure it's not only for the 003?

64 gives you a slightly phasey sound if you have one ear out've the headphones - 128 is actually preferable, but it is a noticeable delay.

There should be zero latency in something like this, it's pathetic programming, and it's embarrassing to not be able to provide a simple headphone mix (you have to use low latency monitoring, then output the reverb or whatever on another channel, then use an external mixer). Why do digi insist on making LE a toy...

albee1952, the question is wether you have Mbox2 Pro or the 003 ?

I could be some difference between the two, but I dont know.
I'v have the Mbox2 Pro and also feel the delay/latency of 64 samples. It's not usable for me either. Especially when comparing to LLM.

I have the 003. I was under the impression(maybe wrong) that all the firewire interfaces would be the same.

That's what I'v heard to, but I'm beginning to have doubts.

Have you compared 64 against LLM on your 003 ?
