CD Glitches
Hello Digi,
I am having problems getting my MLCD V2.4 to make CD's properly. When I write CDs I get a squeeky skipping noise every couple of seconds. I am running a G3 powerbook through a Magma CB2S into a Yamaha CDR1000SXZ. I have tried different writing speeds, disabled extensions that may be interfering (as per the manual), and am wondering where to go next. The CDR burner works fine with Toast. I tried the speed test to determine the system speed and come up with 450.2. I can't seem to find a System Configuration Performance Guide for my Burner anywhere to match up the proper speed. Also, is there a seperate download for the Firmware that is made for the CDR1000SXZ or does that come packaged in the software download. It is listed in the download page but there is no download button for it. Any Suggestions? mpwhite |
