Edit softkeys not possible, Eucontrol stays "in focus"

I am unable to edit any Softkeys or customize to any application. When I open Eucontrol to customize softkeys from within Nuendo, the focus of Eucontrol switches FROM Nuendo BACK TO Eucontrol, not allowing me to access Nuendos user set.
It never use to do this.
I have tried all the usual things, uninstalling re-installing going back to previous version etc.
I am un able to "Lock" any app to my MC Control, when I open up Eucontrol, again the focus changes back to Eucontrol so I can only lock the surface to Eucontrol.

Edit: Fixed, anti virus caused problem ,un-installed and all is well.

EuControl.exe is ignored by EUCON app focus. So is Explore.

When you are in the SoftKey editor what is the application name displayed in the top left of the tab?

it says "Application:"
so it is blank.
However on the MC Control in the upper left it says the name of my computer.
Which is "Audio-PC"
the soft buttons display:
"Welcome to Artist series"

Well that does seem odd.

What version are you running?

Windows Explorer is NOT ignored by Eucon. In fact I have a whole page of custom touchscreen buttons to launch my apps and favorite webpages.

I talked with Obedia support about this 2 years ago, they also claimed this was not possible, could not explain it, but yet I have it working.

As far as the original problem, that has been fixed. apparently my virus software was causing the problem, that has been un installed and all is well.

Ok - good to know your able to get working again.

We will investigate the issue more. We have had some issues in the past with some applications that require to be run as admin. This may be related.
