Default Groups Color Bug

Just wondering how many of you are annoyed by the "Group Color Bug" in 7.3.1

To reproduce;

1) starting with no groups in session
2) in Preferences > Display - Default Track Color Coding = Groups
3) create 4 tracks
4) select tracks 1 & 2 and make a group (notice the track color goes blue (as expected)
5) select tracks 3 & 4 and make a group (notice the track color goes green (as expected)
6) select all tracks (1 through 4) and make a group (notice the colors don't change as they should)
7) in the Edit Groups list (lower left mini window), disable the first 2 groups (blue & green)
8) notice the track colors all switch to red

The group color hierarchy has been REVERSED in 7.3 (possibly 7.2 - I never ran that version)

This bug makes it impossible to glance at the tracks and know which tracks are actually in the active groups.

Please reply so Digi knows how many people are affected by this.

is that a bug? I thought they must have done that on purpose for some awful reason.
that's one of the first things I noticed and it REALLY SUCKS. it screws up the whole way I work. I have to be constantly checking to see what's in the group, and of course I don't so I've screwed myself several times with this.

Change this please , it should be easy enough as a quick fix.

I agree, this one is quite frustrating. I always find I'm trying to turn groups on that are already on, which constantly slows me down...

I've had this problem a lot, it drives me crazy when they get simple stuff like this wrong.

Why are you kids making a mess with the damn crayons?

Will someone let me know when it actually _works_? I'd use it then.

I thought the same thing at first, but there doesn't seem to be ANY reason for the colors to prioritize in this way.

Can anyone think of a reason they would do this on purpose?
