Connecting PC Formatted USB Drive to Mac
I have a client who wants to bring a PC external USB formatted drive [Windows 7] that I can connect to my Mac Pro [OS 10.6.7], so that we can transfer sessions back and forth. Is this possible? If so, what would be an appropriate drive type - i.e., OWC 500 GB Model No. . . , etc. Thanks for your assistance.

Re: Connecting PC Formatted USB Drive to Mac
You can drag and drop files to it, but you won't be able to work off of it. I don't think you can do a 'Save Copy In' on it either. If it's FAT32, it's drag and drop only.

Re: Connecting PC Formatted USB Drive to Mac
Get the right software:
There are plenty. Personally, I´m quite keen on the NTFS-3G, as it has always worked perfect with every usb-hdd I ever connected. For write/read i mean, of course... |

Re: Connecting PC Formatted USB Drive to Mac
Exactly, but I have never tried if Tuxera works perfect. If tried a few others but ended up using the one I mentioned above. It makes my Mac able to read/write on NTFS disks. Remenber to make the correct settings in your new icon in the bottom of System settings panel.
