Of course u'll need different HP boxes to start with; but just run from the output of the rack(i.e 3-4,5-6,7-8, etc) into HP boxes & then use sends of what u wanna give that particular box... thatz it...A Snack bay, I mean patch bay is ideal...





edit: I'm don't know the C24 well but I would think it could do @ least 2 mixes via aux sends or something(just thinking that because I can on my D8B & u know the C24 looks just like it)

On my LE rig, I feed the headphones like this; Main L/R goes into the main inputs of a Behringer HA4700. This unit(just over $100 BTW) has 4 sections. Each section has a stereo AUX input that feeds only that section. I send 4 mono sends from PT(thru special cables) to the 4 AUX inputs of the HA4700. New each of 4 players(I have a small studio) gets the main mix(same as I hear at control) with more of whatever they need(usually "MORE ME").

With my i7 rig, I record all day at the 64 buffer so latency is never an issue. I also know which plugins have a ton of latency and simply don't use them when tracking. I actually almost never have a latency issue at all by careful choice of plugins and leaving the big hogs until mastering. The only plugin I use in mixing that has lots of latency is AutoTune, and even that one rarely causes a timing issue during mixing. Of course, your needs may push things differently.

I don't get why u guys are even getting latency from Auto tune... I have so many of those on my sessions it may as well be Auto Tools instead of Pro tools NEVER had any delays/latency... u use Auto tune 5 Albee'sure?

My Autotune is an older version and if I dupe a track and process one, I measure something like 8100 samples(at least it did well over a year ago when I measured). In any case, as I said, it doesn't create any audible problems for me. Most times I now use Melodyne or make them sing it right
Any RTAS plugin that deals with pitch is going to have some latency due to the time it takes to process the audio.

soon as i go into record mode the aux sends go into latency.exept for output 1-2
