Default Serious Annoying bug on PT 10 and 11 HD

If you make some editings with fades, after consolidating you can find these glitches.

You can hear it here:

Can't say I've run into that in non-HD PT 11.3.0 Pops/clicks can happen if you're editing on anything other than zero crossings of the waveform.

If you're editing with fades there should be no problem with pops after consolidating, zero-crossings or not. If you're editing without fades, there could be a problem after consolidating, as I believe PT does some cross-fade by default on playback. (I could be wrong about this, but I think I read it somewhere a long time ago, probably before the internet, so it could actually be true. )

I have not experienced this either. Is there possibly some DC offset in your tracks that could be causing the pops? You might try running DC offset removal under Audio Suite (other) on the tracks and see if that fixes the problem.

Only a bug if it's reproducible and everyone is seeing it. Obviously not many people are seeing this or this forum would explode since no one could work.

Must be something rig specific causing this. Does it happen to ALL session or just one?

Can you repro it with a brand new session and using signal generator making sine waves for example?

Hello Drew and all!
I'm pro, so this is not a fault such as zero cross etc. It was about using beat detective and after manual editing. But in this case, it was after BD editing.

It happens on crossfades places after consolidating randomly. I worked with 24bit audio, 48k, made some editings. Session setting is 32 bit float, because of some headroom issues. Maybe, this could be the cause.

It happens in sessions imported from AAF.
