Clicks and pops during playback and recording.

Hello,
I need some advice. I am running PT 8.0.1 HD 1 on a Mac G5 dual 2.5. I have 8 gig of ram. I recently switched out my Dual G5 dual 2.0 with the
dual 2.5. Everything was working perfectly and now i am hearing small clicks
and pops during playback and while recording a session down onto a stereo track. They are not loud enough to hear on a pop rock or pop dance session, but on this Yoga CD that I am producing, I do hear them on mix down. Has anyone had the same issue?

What clock source are you using? I'm assuming you're using 192s?

An invalid clock source can cause pops and clicks.

I have the same issue.
I just went to native and all my sessions have this pop and click
I am using the internal clock of the 192.
Tried trashing prefs etc...nothing.
Changed buffer size cache all that stuff

What about the playback engine option to ignore RTAS issues (that can cause pops/clicks)? Have you checked there? Tried changing the amount of cores your running?
