Sucking RAM + distorted tracks
Just got my Mbox back from digidesign repair (who were amazing by the way) and now I've got a couple issues. They started around the same time, so I figure they might be related.
1 - Sometimes - about 40% of the time - I get this crazy static in my tracks, like this: http://americasfavoriteband.com/distorteddrums.mp3 2 - After I've had certain sessions open for about a minute, it starts sucking down RAM and crashes the machine. Can't get all the way through a bounce because "the bounce handler cannot keep up." This only seems to happen with certain sessions, though - the old ones seem to work fine. WinXP Pro 3.2 GHz P4 External WD 250GB drive (but I tried it on the local drive too and got the same problem) Sound familiar to anyone? I'm very frustrated right now. |
