Well, I know PT8.05 works well with Lion (10.7.2). I'm not sure if it will work with ML since I didn't test it, but I suspect it would since everything I threw at Mountain Lion maintained compatibility with it!

I believe that is where I am going as well. I just can't stand any more of the Avid compatibility issues every time there is an OS update. I am hopeful that Apple can keep their own product compatible with their own operating system.

That's why I love them. When they update, they integrate across the spectrum. The left and right hands know what each other is doing. The OS guys aren't throwing the DAW guys or the browser guys under the bus.
