Default master control room meter?

Hi - New to Protools 9, I got it working great on my EMU1616m, so far so good.

Two quick questions:

1 - Is there a 'master control room' volume meter in PT? or is there a way to make the master bus float? The TL Master meter is cool as an insert - but are there optional ones or 3rd party inserts? The one Cubase 5 had was my favorite.

2 - In my huge midi template, I'm using over 100 tracks and have found it very useful to navigate them with the TRACKS section to the left of the main window. However, I notice that when I click on the track names, some show up at the TOP of my main track view to the right like I want - while most others show up lower, sometimes I have to scroll down to find them. Would be much cooler if they always showed up at the top all the time. Is there a setting for this? I can post a screenshot if my explanation is too confusing.

Thanks!
