I'm getting this constantly across multiple sessions. Can anyone advise?

Me too, as of 2023.12.1. Happens when I click a memory location in memory locations window.
macOS 12.5.1
Hackintosh, intel i7

yes, it seems to happen when I am shuttling -moving to a memory location or moving to a different location.

I tried importing session data into a new session, then changed all tracks to sample based and have not had the assertion error since doing so.

May I ask if you can send in a screen record on when you encounter the error?

Also may I ask if there are any Tick Based tracks and Time Based tracks in the same Group?
