Default M BOX plug and play detection

When I plug in my M-Box to a newly installed OS, it doesn't detect it properly like it did before I reformatted.

Does anyone know what this is from, or how I can fix it? Are there any drivers that I need?

I can't seem to figure out how the settings would have been different before the new OS install

Thanks for your time

Mark Brewster

You reformatted your harddisk. I suggest you install ptle. With the digi001 it only gets discovered during the install....i suppose with the mbox its the same.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Hi Mark-
Don't forget that this is the "User" conference, not Digi tech support.
As Bastiaan said, try reinstalling the PTLE software.
If that doesn't help, and you're looking for a direct contact to Digi, try here:

Good luck

Mark,
Are you plugging your cable into the same usb port as before? In my case, I have 4 usb ports, but there is only one port that the MBox will work in. I guess the others are hubs?
Also, reboot, enter BIOS, and make sure your usb is enabled.
I know the other guys are only trying to help, but you have to get the new hardware window to pop up before installing ProTools with the MBox.
Good Luck,
Mitch
