Get yourself a dongle? I’ve never had any issues and can swap between my rigs with ease (including working in the middle of nowhere with no internet connection.)

I love iLok. Very secure and dependable.
Apparently it is a favorite thing to hate on.

One of my favorite things to hate are plugins that are not using iLok. Generally speaking I am not buying. However some VI's just never learn, need to accept that.

I guess the iLok Helsinki* Syndrome is real. All this crap is pretty customer hostile for many new/smaller users.
