PT 2023.6 broke Avid Control app on iPad

The app says it's connected in the Settings/About on the app, but no faders show up, transport doesn't work, etc.

I opened an older version of PT as well as Logic Pro, both work as expected.

Am I missing a setting or something, or is it actually broken?

I'm running PT23.6 too, and Control is working fine on my iPad. I read somewhere on the DUC recently about people with problems like this actually rolled back one version of Eucontrol and it fixed the problem. So I haven't updated Eucontrol on the mac - I have v 2022.12.01.

No luck... tried the last 3 versions of Eucontrol... nothing works. Not sure how to roll back the iPad app...

Too bad.
I didn't update the iPad app. I don't think there even is an update, since last year.
And I don't think installing earlier versions of iOS apps is even possible.

I think you should perhaps give a little more info; like does the ipad show up in 'surfaces', what have you tried for troubleshooting etc, and let's hope someone can help

Same problem here - after updating to 2023.6 my S1 wouldn't bank. After trying multiple things I held shift and clicked one of the user button and that did it. Not sure why but it's working.

Everything works fine in 2023.3.

With 2023.6 the iPad shows up fine in EuControl settings, and on the app it shows that it's connected. But, nothing shows up.

I've tried multiple versions of EuControl, back to 2022.9 (which won't connect to this version of the iPad app (2022.12.1.153).

Not sure what else to try.

OK, so, I've tracked the issue down to Native/Rosetta.

Everything works, including 2023.6 if it's running Natively. Turn on Rosetta and I lose the iPad.

Hopefully Avid can fix this because there are still plug-ins I need from time to time that won't run Natively yet.

Interestingly, this holds true for Logic Pro as well. Open with Rosetta, EuCon breaks.

Folks. If you're running 2023.6 under Rosetta then you need to enable Eucon the old way. Peripherals/Ethernet Controllers. Check the box for EUCON Control Surface.
