SCSI is required with all but PTLE/001 and PowerMix systems. (I assume that you are referring to the audio drive chani, not the system drive.)

IDE (as an audio drive chain) with Mix systems is untested and unsupported.

Steve,

Well, I know IDE may be untested by Digi and unsupported, but I just wanted you to know that I have used the 10 g IDE drive in my beige G3 as a audio drive with a PT24 system for over a year without a single problem. If only the stuff on my SCSI / 9600 PTIII system would be so stable, my life would be wonderful. I know that technically the IDE isn't as good as SCSI, but it shure has worked for me. (I've recorded well over 100 sessions with this configuration with no problems) PT 4.3.2, 266 beige G3 96m, Sys 8.5.1
