Hello.........i read about re_indexing your drives when you upgrade to 7.1. also read about getting a prompt screen telling you to do so , i did not see any screen. does this happen automatically or is it something you have to do?

If you mean "Digidesign databases"..yes, PT will rewrite it's folders on all attached volumes. It never hurts, and even recommended to occasionally wipe it off your drives manually as well. good luck,

thanks Lemix. i will try to find the exact article i was reading and post it. for now 7.1 is working. Seem to get a few more hardware buffer errors than before and i get some audio clock errors. for now i am able to run my sessions pretty much just as before in 7. Expand and hybird are very nice additions.
