PT 7.4.2 does not lauch
I updated to PT 7.4.2 but when I try to start a session the program begins to load plug-ins. On this stage the program get stock on either DigiRewire.dpm or Chorus.dpm plugin.
Please any clue on how to fix this. Thanks |

Re: PT 7.4.2 does not lauch
Did a search and found this:
Pro Tools freezes on DigiRewire.dpm when starting the program on a Macintosh with Mac OS 10.5.x Leopard. If Pro Tools freezes on DigiRewire.dpm when starting the program, this is usually due to an incompatible version of Melodyne Essential being installed on the system. The version of Melodyne Essential on the Ignition Pack 2 discs is 1.5.1, which is incompatible with Mac OS 10.5.x Leopard. To fix the problem, follow these steps: 1) Quit all running programs 2) Open the computer's startup drive (commonly named "MacHD") and navigate to the "Library" folder, then to the "Application Support" folder, then the "Propellerhead Software" folder, and finally the "ReWire" folder 3) In the "ReWire" folder, two files need to be moved to the trash. These are "MelodyneEssentialRewireDevice" and "MelodyneEssentialRewireDevice.plugin" 4) Pro Tools should now launch properly If you have the original Ignition Pack installed, you may experience the same issue, but the fix is a little bit different: 1) Quit all running programs 2) Open the computer's startup drive (commonly named "MacHD") and navigate to the "Library" folder, then to the "Application Support" folder 3) In the "Application Support" folder delete the "Propellerhead Software" folder, "ReWire", "REX Shared Library", and "MelodyneEssentialRewireDevice" 4) Pro Tools should now launch properly
