Default Recording Electric Guitar

In ProTools 10, I connected up my electric guitar to an instrument input on my Audio interface and have Guitar Rig as a plug-in. When I have the track on record ready, and I'm playing the loop, I can not hear any sound from the track, so I can't jam with it and try to find melodies. When I turn off play and it's record ready, I can play it and hear it fine. How do I press play on the loop, but still hear my guitar? Thanks.

Dean.

Try Alt+K to switch the input mode.
