Default Help! rookie question, but pls help!

I encounter a problem that i recieve several songs for rearrangement, all of them are from film music. The problem is i suspect they have been changed to 24fps due to the film format, and i can't sync up the tempo using PTLE, the nearest tempo is crotchet=89 but lose sync for half beat delay for running 1 minute only, is there a method for PTLE to select tempo in between 89-90? thanks for the reply in advance and sorry if i am asking some very stupid question.
