i am actually with a friend via facetime and as he is still on yosemite, i asked him he says it does not work when you do a search in the appstore

which btw isn't suprizing because i do not see how and why apple would exclusively give that possibiity to get mavericks only on yosemite

or mabe there is something i do not understand for sure

Only explanation is very simple. Apple does not want us to downgrade OS, but are legally obligated to provide old purchases, even though they are free. So if you have downloaded it earlier if is yours to download later. Just need to have old enough OS to make it happen.

yeah i knew about that but still, i was hoping what you said would leave us the choice to get 10.9 somehow...

nevermind i have found a website that shows us on how to fool apple's servers and get what we want at the end
