CT4 comp is my most used Massey plug-in. I also use TD5 delay a bunch. Tape-Head has a big following too!!

I don't use THC that much anymore (), but it's a great distortion plug-in!!

I'd suggest to just get them all, they're all really good.

CT4 is really easy to use and can be pretty transparent. When you need extra smack, just use two of them in a row.

Tapehead or CT4.

Really they are all pretty good. I never got into THC (the plugin) But the rest of the stuff is excellent and stands tall.

Take advantage of the Demos!

Support Steve and his business model.

I use the TD5 all the time
the Tape Head is great, also...
definitely try the demos. For the price, they are an incredible deal.

The Massey Deesser is the very first plug you should by if you are doing mainly vocal production. I have tried many Deessers (hardware and software) and have not found one come even close to the Massey Deesser. SO GOOD

My first purchase was THC because I got tired of working with one mixer who always brought his Rat pedal with him for insert use on the kick and bass. I grew tired of his constant complaining that someone had been messing with the knobs and changing his sound. I demo'd THC to his liking and then bought it to shut him up.

I now have all of Massey's stuff. There's not a single bad plugin in the bunch. De:Esser is the best de-esser I've ever used. I really like using CT4 as an Audiosuite process. I don't preview the settings, I just dial it up and apply it and see if I like it. DTM's performance is so impressive that I'll probably drop for the forthcoming DMA without even demo'ing it.

I really appreciate Steve's ethic. His prices are extremely reasonable and his plugins have never caused me a problem in Pro Tools. Massey plugins are the solutions to problems.
