Not where Pro Tools is concerned. It doesn't matter how fast your processor is; if the program interferes with Pro Tools, it interferes with Pro Tools.

I'm gonna try to reinstal windows but if it still not work i think i have to change with a dual core duo 3 ghz or something with higher frequency. When i used the single core this problem wasn't that bad.

I set Pro Tools playback engine Rtas to 3 processors and it's a little bit better. But i am not fully satisfied because if i grab the transport bar while playing a project and move around it's not playing well and the processor goes to 100%.

You only need to post the computer overview, and that zShare.net site has some very questionable pop-ups. One was blocked by my security software, so you might just want to do a scan of your system.

This is all you need to post from that report:

Just a couple of things;

According to the ASUS website, you are WAY behind on the BIOS version. The current one is 0601. I would definitely recommend getting current on the BIOS.

Disable the NIC when running Pro Tools (and when running reports about your problematic Pro Tools system )

What model BluRay hardware is that? It doesn't look familiar. If it is a "virtual disk" (it looks like it could be) you need to be absolutely positive that it is disabled when running Pro Tools. Not just un-mounted, but disabled.

Running matched memory should help the machines performance also.

I've have PTLE running on a P5Q SE2 so its probably more of a configuration issue than a major hardware conflict.

Make sure your on board sound "ASUS HD Audio Controller" is disabled in the bios.
