Bad Pool Header Message When Installing Tools 8

Bad Pool Header blue screens When Installing Tools 8.0.3
tools runs in compatability mode (xp SP3) but when i try to use the mbox2 the driver causes windows to blue screen
I Have turned of DEP within dos to no affect
ideas?
