Complete Production Tooliit v10 Where??

I just update my Protools v9.05 to v10 (non HD-HDX).
After install Pro tools I tried to install the "Complete Protduction Toolkit" bundle, but CANT DO IT !!!
The last version of Toolkit is 9.01, and cant be installed under Protools 10 (the installer dont permit it, it says: Pro tools is not found"). I search it in my Avid account (under the license Toolkit) but only are three versions: 8, 9 and 9.01.
Ok, now I have my Protools 10, but where is the Toolkit update/installer????

Note: In Protools 9, when you install it, into the "optional installers" folder, was the "Toolkit" installer, but in Protools 10 ONLY "Heat installer" is offered as "optional installer". Avid, where is the update/installer???

You don't need it. Your CPTK license will unlock those features in PT10.

Thats great ! But is this info 100% completely verified ? Cause I was wondering this too ? I haven't purchased either though yet, so I was trying to find out first. As in, do you even gain anything by buying the CPTK for PT10 ? Or is PT10 already as powerful as CPTK ?

If not, then I do want CPTK with PT10, therefore wondering if the above quote is indeed verified..

All you need is a CPTK asset on your iLok. This was true in PT9 as well. You Will need to load the additional plugs that came with whichever version of the CPTK you have

I upgraded from 9.0.5 to 10 and didn't have to do anything with my CPTK. All of the features were already unlocked from the previous versions.

You get the disk cache feature, advanced automation, 7.1 mixing capabilities. The complete list of the features are on the Avid website.

So if I understand correctly, you guys are saying, yes having CPTK does indeed give you more tracks,etc.. than what PT10 offers straight out the box ? But all you need is the license on the ilok and to install the actual extra plug ins to have it work, as it just "unlocks" the extra features (like track count, etc..) within PT10 automatically ?

Mainly, I was making sure the CPTK is even a "upgrade" for PT10, as sometimes when they release a new version of PT it actually is as powerful and has all the features as the previous version WITH CPTK's, etc.. you know what I mean ?

You need the CPTK for extra tracks, vca groups, surround, disc caching, etc.

Yes that is correct. For instance, I have CPTK 1 but I get all of the benefits of CPTK 2. There is not a CPTK "upgrade".

CPTK pretty much gives you what PT10 HD has. Of course minus TDM plugins obviously and a couple of other things. Believe me it's worth it. Especially if your in post.

If you can find a brand new copy of CPTK 1 somewhere like eBay, you would also get the other plugins that used to come with it (Hybrid, TL Space, etc.).

These were pretty much taken away with CPTK 2.
