Default Solo does not use sends?

Is this correct behavior:

When I hit the solo button on a track with a Reverb send (for example), I don't hear the reverb, only the dry track...

Is that what supposed to happen or is there a setting which will allow the sends to be processed?

Yes, because Solo'ing a track mutes all other tracks, including Aux. In tracks. If you want to hear FX returns when solo'ing, then Solo Safe the return(s), by Cmd-clicking the Solo button of the return(s).
