hah ! I just installed the PT 9.01 update on top of everything else and now PT sees the m-audio...yay ! I had 9.01 already but apparently it didn't get the full message last time...

now - how do I get PT to record my parameter sweeps on instruments and eq's for instance ? touck mode doesn't seem to do anything and neither does record mode (assuming the data might be midi cc data) ???

- actually the touch mode and automation rarely works even with the mouse on my PT HD 9 - what's up with that ????

Axiom Pro in HyperControl mode works exactly the same as Pro Tools Automation.

Does anyone have hypercontrol that does not freeze over time?

Mine always freezes. It can even be when I'm not doing anything. It's like after a certain amount of time it just freezes.

Gravytrader, many fixes have been released with the latest driver and firmware update 1.20 but this release has been pulled due to a functionality bug found by the public. M-Audio are working on a fix and will release the new driver and firmware update soon.

I can't wait. A few other things bother me like F4 "Mute" is doing the same thing as F5 "Solo". But I figured I should fix the freezing problem before anything else.

One thing I did was turn off Auto-backup in Protools preferences and it hasn't frozen after about 2 hours. Not sure if it really helps yet, but who knows.
