Footswitch stopped working on 003?

If any AVID tech support folks read this,,could you PLEASE respond and tell us something? anything?....your working on it?...your not?...Your gonna fx it?..we all can go to hell?...the silence from support (since their Nov responce) is most frustrating.

Mine is not working either. Worked fine on 001 just bought and set up entirely new system. 003, PT 9, new PC with win7pro, i7, 8gb ram.
Checked cables and switch with meter. All my equipment is intact, this is a PT9/003 problem not my foot-switch and cable.

Thank you for the reply!!! At least I know we are being looked at!! Please let us know when they bring out a fix! Trying to punch in while playing a guitar is hard enough with your foot. Near impossible with a mouse or keyboard!

Sorry for coming very late to this party!!!

I few months ago, I upgraded to Win7 and PT9. I've installed all the right drivers and have updated to PT9.0.5. My DAW is rock solid, and I'm loving it.... with one small exception...

Last night, I needed to use my footswitch to play/record. But it wouldn't work.

I haven't used my footswitch since before installing PT9. I know the switch works on other gear (so it's not the footswitch) adn I know I pushed the plug in all the way in the back of my Rack 003. And, I know it worked 100%perfect before I upgraded to PT9.

Am I missing something?

I'd really like to be able to use the footswitch to play/record and stop.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the footwsitch to work?
