giving up
after spending many hours, many trials and many errors, I'm giving up. If anyone has a Dell p4 with sblive, and if you can make pro-tools free work, I'd sure like to hear from you.

Re: giving up
Give me the full rundown on your system...I'm only running a Celeron 400Mhz system with 256MBRam, and after lots of tweaking, I have it running good enough to do recording and mixdowns(but now without the odd system crash)But, if I'm not mistaken, I seem to recall that the P4 is not compatible with PTF..yet

Re: giving up
I too am having problems with the "Windows" free version of Pro Tools. If anyone knows how to disable PCI Parity on a custom BIOS system, I would greatly appreciate it. I am also having trouble with the whole PLUG-INS thing. Having so much outboard gear I have never had to learn how to do plug-ins. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
