Protools First: AAE-9178 Error
After installing Protools First I open it and a windows pops up saying: AAE Error-9178, then closes. So it never completes opening. I have reinstalled, no go. what to do? On a windows 10 3.0 ghz 8mb ram laptop, i7 processor. (HP Pavilion)

Are you using the latest version of PTF from your Avid account?
What ASIO interface are you using and is it connected to the computer when PTF is starting? |

Yes, yesterday I downloaded and installed from my Avid account. Checked and interface was connected. I also downloaded and installed Media Composer First
from Avid account, installed and it works fine. |
