Did the same thing - a NewerTech G3/400 in my 9500, and a total of 208 Megs RAM. 001 works fine.

Me too. NewerTech G3/400 in my 9500. 352 MB RAM, 2 external Seagate Barracuda 9G drives (7200rpm) connected via Adaptec 2940UW SCSI card, and the Yamaha 4416S external CDRW connected via the onboard Mac SCSI port. Works great so far.

Hey, folks with the 9500/upgrade...

Just one question. What type of performance are you all experiencing in regards to plugins and track count?

By the way...I upgraded from a 120hz 604 proc to a NewerTech 500mhz G3 on my 9500 Powermac..the speed difference is waay more than I ever expected! As long as there are no hidden complications yet to surface I am quite happy with it.
