Default 192 I/O Power supply

Hello,
My 192 is broken... I opened it and it seems to be the R1(resistor has burned) in the 192 Power supply Unit.
Has anybody had the same problem?
Do you know the value of this resistor?
I am in a rush right now and I cannot send it to digi as it takes about 3 week to repair....
Any help are welcome..To do it by myself.
Cheers
BJK

Hi,

Find a local electronics repair person! they should be able to repair the power supply, as there's nothing special about a power supply its all basic components. should be an easy fix for an experienced electronics person.

Unless you know what you are doing then don't attempt the repair yourself. the resister might just be part of the problem! you need an expert to go over all the components and check/replace them in order. resisters don't just blow!!!! they are just inline when something goes wrong.

As the fan definitely been working ok? if this had stopped its likely the unit overheated and that would cause something to give eventually.
