Default BOUNCE TO DISK

Why is pro Tools just about the only system without internal bouncing? Its a pain in the a__ to sit and listen to it bounce, only to get to the end of a song, then drop out. Has anyone brought this up at digidesign? This needs to be a feature in the next update to pro tools.

it happens I find because of lack of automation thinning or too many programs on the machine running in the background - use a clean boot and you should be fine

Yes this is greatly needed, I agree. I have been recording audio in Pro Tools then using Audacity or Logic to make a quick bounce (off line) of the session.

I wouldnt trust a function like that in PT, the BTD is bad enough in realtime. At least with RTD( record to disk) it'll sound accurate.

I have found that in Logic and other programs that the offline bounce is much more accurate and uses less CPU. Doing a realtime bounce takes more resources as everything has to render and playback.
