a little more info might help .. i will test what you did and see what happens once you tell me how you installed .. so i can do same .. have some time today ti look at this . and i just downloaded but have not installed yet ..

Whoa there.... just seen this in the bug fixes:

Fixed a set of Access Violation issues that could occur when editing clips on Windows (PT-234183)

That is very quick if they really fixed it... will wait for news from the brave.

Me either. Must be a W 10 thing maybe. I have not seen this in a couple of years. Did have an issue with Pro Res 422 not playing now in Sessions. Had to revert to another Codec to finish a project. G

Hack users - move your "Track Presets" folder before installing - new PT creates folder of same name, hasn't wiped my hack presets but is a bit garbled identifying folders but wrong contents. New official format is ".ptxp" btw

There is a lot of new stuff here. I think I will enjoy the MIDI editing short cuts with the arrow keys the most. But track presets is most welcome as well. :)

I only work on Windows 10 and have not had this issue. I also maintain a lot of systems and have not seen or heard any issues with it. Must have been specific to the system.
