DAE error -9060 on PT 9 OSX
Hi there,
I just encounterd a DAE error -9060 on a PT 9 session on Mac OSX. The session was fine unti I imported two new tracks. and now it keeps popping up at the exact same moment. I trashed all my preff's... anyone had experience with something simular? Thanks! |

Re: DAE error -9060 on PT 9 OSX
I started having this issue since moving to PT9... but I don't know that it's isolated to only 9. I've been told that either your session or possibly just those two files are corrupt... not sure what causes this, but I would sure like to know.
The fix is easy, just copy your session to another drive and it should open and play fine, least this has fixed it for me everytime. Hope it works. |

Re: DAE error -9060 on PT 9 OSX
I also have this issue. It started when I enabled 'delay compensation' but I am really not sure if this is the cause.
I was recording from some tracks to one single track inside PT9. I stopped a few times while recording to make adjustments and to start recording again, just before the insert-point where I stopped. After finishing the recording, I checked the different parts of my recorded track to see if it did not have any strange sounds on the points where I had stopped. On one particular point I could not listen to my session and I had the DAE -9060 error. However when I went back to the point where everything was still working I could re-record everything and finish my session that way. I first experienced this under 9.0.6 Up to 9.0.5 it did not show up. |

Re: DAE error -9060 on PT 9 OSX
After a lot of work that went out fine, it is back! The mysterious Error 9060. Anyone any idea about it?
It can show up in a session just like that and I can not find anything that I do and that might be the cause. |

Re: DAE error -9060 on PT 9 OSX
The answer from digi answerdatabase is this:
http://goo.gl/KyyO5 I found that out myself as you can see in my previous post. The audiofile gets corrupted and when you remove it or go back to the point in the file where it was not corrupted, you can work on. But more intriguing is of course what leads to corruption of the file. Why does it get corrupted in the first place? Oh yeah and then they have this http://goo.gl/csA65 none of which is useful for my situation. |

Two generic audio files? What kind ? Sampling rate? But depth ? Format?
