Default PT9 on 2010 11" Macbook Air - which interface?

Hey guys!

I'm going to attempt to do a remote with my 2010 11" MBA. Simple sessions. Not too many tracks. I've run some tests with it playing back 6 stereo tracks while recording one stereo track and it seems to work fine at 128 samples. I can work with that.

Anyone have experience with USB interfaces on these things? Considering the Duet 2 or Mbox 3, mostly. Either of those will yield usable results, just curious about CPU load, stability, etc. with these interfaces. I really like the Apogee, but suspect the MBox might be more stable. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I was going to buy an Mbox 3 Pro but with all of the issues I've seen here, I decided against it. I've always had Digi hardware over the years like many of us. I just sold my 11 Rack as well as I liked it but realized that with Amplitube 3 and Overloud TH2 and some great cabinet IRs from Redwirez, I can get the same if not better results.

That being said, I've purchased the Apogee Duet 2 and it is simply an awesome interface. I'm so happy with it and I made the right decision. No issues at all with it running PT9.03 and my iMac i7. Great quality and even better sound.
