Default 5.1 Output via 888 SPDIF out?

Does anyone know if it is possible to have ProTools playback 6 individual audio tracks via the single SPDIF output on an 888 Audio Interface which is hooked up to a decoder?

Nope - 5.1 track must be routed in I/O setup and it forces you to select 6 individual outputs. Plus - SPDIF only comes in and goes out via channels 1-2. Good Idea tho....
