Hi!
Some info on my setup: -I have a fast track solo. I run audio out of the 1/4 jack and split it to two Rokit 5 studio monitors. See below for full report. The issue I'm experiencing: My audio cuts out and will not come back unless I go to sound settings, disable the fast track solo, and enable it again. If I try to do anything audio related (play a song in itunes, watch a youtube video, watch netflix, etc.) nothing happens - songs won't play, youtube won't buffer or play, netflix gives an error and dies. As soon as I disable the fast track solo the song or video or whatever it is will start playing and when I re-enable the fast track solo the audio comes back in. It seems like the audio never cuts out when there is currently audio playing - it happens if there is no audio playing and then I put something on. It doesn't happen consistently every time though - it just occasionally cuts out. For awhile I thought it was a USB issue - I've configured every USB port on my computer to maintain power and never cut power. I've also tried running the fast track solo through an externally powered USB hub. Does anyone have any suggestions on what could cause an issue like this? Let me know if there is more information I can provide. What happens if you disable your other audio interfaces in Windows so that the Fast-track is the only interface? I would also make sure Windows is set to the same sample rate that you normally use your Fast-track at.
