Newb Post: Pro Tools Free on iBook
hey, i wanna get an early iBook (ie most likely the iBook SE 366 MHz, with 128 or 192 RAM). I was wondering if anyone knows if PT Free will run on this machine. coz the site says min 1024x768 but the other section says 600x800 but not recommended. any clues Thanks ppl!!

Re: Newb Post: Pro Tools Free on iBook
I run 2 displays: a 17" CRT at 832x624, and a 13" CRT at 640x480. I can't imagine trying to use PT on just the 13". I use that one just for the transport/automation/marker locations etc.
Don't see why you couldn't use it on a 12" book, but it would be a real pain to do any serious editing/mixing IMHO. |
