There is a lot of information here about the Yamaha o2r specifically as to weather or not it can be used as a HUD or DAW for pro tools v7. A lot of information appears to be conflicting with what I have seen here and through Google. So here is my request...

If someone has successfully connected and can control pt could you please tell me how...from the actual wiring or connection from o2r and all of the necessary settings on both the o2r and the 002r. I know this may take a bit of someones time but I would be grateful to put this thing to bed. I would like to not buy any new gear if I can...(my wife thinks this is impossible)...or get a HUI DAW that I can use as a controller and pre pt input stage.
